Samantha Mohr

Mohr was one of the UGA student. She took part in her first pageant following being recommended by a close friend. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. She was then eligible for the Miss Georgia pageant in June 1985. Mohr won the title of Miss Georgia 1985 on the 22nd June, 1985. Her earnings were more than $3,500 in scholarship funds and various awards from the pageant. Her activities as Miss Georgia included public appearances at locations throughout Georgia. Mohr was Georgia's representative. was at Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September of 1985. Mohr had a 22-to-1 chance for winning the Miss America title. Computer simulations proved accurate in predicting Susan Akin's success. Mohr did not make the Top 10 finalist to win the national crown. Mohr served as Miss Georgia for a total of ten years. This was until Marlesa Bal, her successor to the title, was declared Miss Georgia 1986, on June 28 June, 1986. Samantha Samantha Samantha
